The CMT (Country Music) Awards is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 8 PM ET/PT on CMT (Country Music Television channel). The awards are given to country music artists, their directors and producers. This is the eight country music award. As usual, the award show gets better every year. This year is believed to be way more better (or badder) than the one of last year. The organizers would always learn from their mistakes and try to correct them for the better. The show is held at the Sommit Center in downtown Nashville. The larger, more fans, more stars and more than all that love of country music.

The show will be hosted by Comedian Bill Engvall. The CMT Music Awards is believed to be the best night for country music fans. As in every award show, the winners are determined by the fans vote. The fans would voted to choose the winners of each categories.

Performers At the Show

The people scheduled to perform  include Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and many more. Taylor Swift is rumored to perform with T-pain. They would perform a song from her new album. Taylor Swift is tight lipped. She doesn't want to say anything about the performance. She wants to create a hype, so that people would watch and critic her performance. From my own critic, I would say it would go since her song, "Love Story" was a smashing hit.

Presenters At The Show

The 2009 CMT Awards presenters include Kid Rock, American Idol judge Randy Jackson, Ted Nugent, Bill O’Reilly of The O’Reilly Factor’, Luke Wilson, T-Pain, and Dancing with the Stars, champions Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas, Rodney Atkins, Billy Currington, Julianne Hough, Naomi Judd, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack and CMT’s Katie Cook and Lance Smith.
