A little Into James Patterson Books And His Life

We all would have read one of the books of James Patterson who wrote the most famous series of thriller based on Alex Cross. Coming back to James Patterson, he was a student of Manhattan College from where he completed his bachelor’s degree and later did his masters from Vanderbilt University. Furthermore, Patterson is a well off and happily married man living with his wife Susan and son jack.

James Patterson was born on March 22, 1947 and after his studies had a career in the advertising department where he retired in 1996. After he retired from his permanent job he went about working as a writer for his own will and satisfaction. He started his journey of writing by the first book of the series based on Alex Cross where he introduced his character as part of his thriller series. This made him to be on the top of the United States book detective series of more than ten years.

With that said James Patterson has been writing novels for thirty three years as of now and he still is. With a complete total of sixty five novels up till now out of which nineteen of them have been parts of the top and number one bestsellers of the New York Times bestselling novels.

With that said ,  James Patterson is still holding the Guinness world book records title of having the most number of hard cover fiction bestselling by a single author which in his case is fifty six books. Patterson has not only be given the title in the Guinness world book records but he has also walked off the red carpet with many other awards in his hands a few of them being the Edgar Award, the BCA Mystery Guild’s Thriller of the Year, the International Thriller of the Year award and many more in the line of awards.

Furthermore, James Patterson has not only worked with himself when it comes to writing, he has collaborated with his friends in order to provide his readers with the best piece of writing. Some of them are Maxine Paetro, Andrew Gross and many more. Being a person of himself, he has always given complete credibility to the people he has worked with.

He was also the founder of the James Patterson PageTurner Awards in 2005, to give away $850,000 to people irrespective working or studying for effecting reading.
